Thanksgiving
Sunday is Thanksgiving in Canada. It seems odd to have it before Halloween, but oh well.
We've invited a few people over for a southern style Thanksgiving dinner. We'll be eating around 2 on Sunday.
The Menu:
Drinks:
Sweet Tea
Wine
Coke
Milk
Spiced Cider
Snacks:
Pickles & Olives
Cheese and Crackers
Candy Turkeys
Deviled Eggs
Nuts
Dinner:
Brined, Roasted Turkey
Gravy
Cornbread Stuffing & baked dressing
Peas
Corn
Mashed Potato
Sweet Potatoes and Marshmallows
Cranberry Sauce
Desert:
Apple Pie
Pecan Pie
Homemade Cinnamon Rolls (maybe)
----------
Lots of work, but it should be fun.
So.. Happy Thanksgiving

Mmmm, sounds wonderful, wish we were close enough to pop in.
It'd be cool to have two Thanksgivings this year.

Sounds good girl, but where's the collards, pumpkin pie and my famous pea salad at?
I imagine way up there you have a hard time getting a lot of things you were used to down here in Georgia.
I enjoyed the e-mail about the snow. It was beautiful. Glad James had fun playing in it.
Enjoy your first Canadian Thanksgiving.
Are you going to have an American one too?
Do you even like collards?
I wish we could be there too.
Give a hug to Les and James for me.
Uncle Dale sends his love along with mine. Aunt Joyce
